1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide a better, safer service to all our users. This includes:

  • Account and Tag Registration: When you purchase or register a SafeTag, we collect your name, mobile number, emergency contact details, vehicle information (type, model, color), and email address.
  • Scan Information: When a QR code is scanned, we automatically log the date, time, scan session identifier, and approximate location. Location coordinates are only collected if the scanning party explicitly grants browser permission.
  • Contact History: We store system logs for communication routing (anonymous calls, SMS, and WhatsApp alerts) for fraud prevention and operational audits.

2. How We Use Information

Your information is used solely to operate and improve SafeTag features:

  • To route notifications and phone calls between scanners and tag owners securely.
  • To display emergency coordinates and status notifications to the tag owner when a scan occurs.
  • To prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of our communication systems.

3. Secure Contact Routing and Privacy

We protect your identity: The personal phone numbers of tag owners are never exposed, revealed, or shared with the scanning party. All voice calls and text alerts are masked and routed through our secure third-party gateway providers.

4. Third-Party Services and Payments

We integrate third-party payment gateways (Razorpay) to process checkouts securely. We do not store credit/debit card numbers or raw bank credentials on our systems. Communication is bridged using licensed telecom partners (Exotel, WhatsApp API).

5. Data Control and Deletion

You maintain full control of your data. You may modify your emergency contacts, vehicle numbers, or communications preferences at any time. To completely delete your registered tags or account data, contact our support team.
